At PS 161, we believe in educating the whole child. Our robust arts and STEAM programs ensure students have opportunities to explore their creativity, stay active, and engage with modern technology.
Start Lighthouse
Our Literacy Hub brings students, teachers, families, and authors together to raise reading levels, increase comprehension, and close the literacy gap through daily programming. Resident authors and illustrators lead interactive workshops, encouraging and enabling students to build their own home libraries.
