The mission of PS 161 is to work in collaboration with one another to provide students with a safe, supportive, and joyful learning environment where children are intellectually stimulated and feel comfortable taking risks, in order to give them the skills they will need to become critical thinkers and successful leaders.
Our Vision
We envision a school where every child is nurtured to reach their full potential. As a bridge to generational success, we strive to foster bilingualism, biliteracy, and a deep appreciation for the arts, preparing our students to thrive in a diverse and changing world.

- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 2:20 PM
- *Doors open at 7:30 AM for breakfast
